Pasta E Fagioli

How's going? Do you have recipes to share? I believe you have. So do I. This is something very quickly prepared, actually, everything is already done, just cook the pasta.

Pasta e Fagioli or in English pasta with beans is one of our traditional dishes because it only needs a few ingredients and we usually have everything at home.
But it can also be prepared in other ways.

As the weather was nice and sunny, my wife and I went back to the seaside for the weekend.
If we go for a short trip, we usually don't want to prepare the food in detail, but just something quick.
True, we have home-grown beans from the field, and we could have made our own pasta, but that would have taken us half a day out of the two we were at the seaside.

So we had a dish almost ready to go :)

300 grams of fusilli pasta made from a mixture of cornmeal and rice flour (it can be any other flour or pasta, of course);
and one can of 750 grams of Chili con Carne (you could also use other beans already cooked in the sauce ... I like chili con carne because it's a bit spicy).

Pour the contents of the can into a pan, add a glass of water, and when it comes to a boil, add the pasta. Stir well. It takes about 8 to 10 minutes for everything to thicken.

And the dish is ready, you can serve it.

Tomatoes with olive oil, salted and, of course, beer also fit next to it ...

But someone will surely remark why they don't go out to eat in a restaurant?

We do go, but it's very hard to get anything good in September when the tourist season ends.
Well, that was Sunday lunch before we went home and we found something :)
