Curation Report - 1-Feb-2023

the-hive-mobile.app <=> HiveAuth integration - Completed
Note: This is straight 32 days of Hive mobile application development.

HiveAuth Based login - IN PROCESS - Day 3
- As soon as you launch app, on top right corner, you'll notice login button
- Hit that login button.
Login with HiveAuth screen
- In here, you're just required to enter your hive-username.
- Nothing else.
- NO KEYS at all.
- Once you are done entering hive-username, hit the button "Login with HiveAuth"
HiveAuth QR with timer.
- Now, app will show the timer based QR code.
- As soon as timer expires, you'll see username field again.
- Within 60 seconds, you're required to scan QR code with HiveAuth supported app.
- These 60 seconds are not hardcoded values.
- It is the value provided by HAS Server.
- Check the timeout value in following screenshot.
"Keychain For Hive" button.
- In above screenshot, you can see that I have also added "Keychain for Hive" button.
- Tapping on that button, it would launch "Keychain for Hive", launch prompt.

- Tapping on "Open" button from the prompt (shown in above screenshot)
- You'll be navigated to "Keychain for Hive" app.
Authorise from "Keychain For Hive" app
- In here, you can set the session validity
- Or Reject by tapping close button.
- Or Hit Approve button.
- After approving, you'll have to manually switch back to https://the-hive-mobile.app
What after that?
- After that, you'll be navigated back to home screen.
- Instead of showing login button, now you'll see your profile pic on top-left corner.
- I am yet to add checks for expiry for has-token.
- I will continue working on it.
- Let me know your thoughts/feedback.
What's Next?
- Allow user to add post.
- Allow user to upvote / downvote content.
- Allow user to add comment.
- Allow user to follow/unfollow/mute/unmute/blacklist users.
