Hello, how are you? I never thought you can eat Pakak as a food but since we move from my mother's side my grandma introduce it to us, but you know when I was still young, I was picky on what food I am going to eat.

But to my surprise my mom bought one for us to try because it has been a while, so I was so excited to know what it tastes like LOL. And to my surprise I really like it so much. So, I highly recommend you try it.

Ingredients I Used:

  • Water
  • Half Cup Meat
  • Cooking Oil
  • Garlic
  • Red Onion
  • Ginger
  • Fish Sauce
  • Chicken Cube Broth
  • Coconut Milk
  • Pakak (Kamansi)
  • Green Chilis

Let's Cook!

In a hot pan, I pour small amount of water.

When it is start boiling, I am going to add the meat.

When all the water evaporated, I am going to add cooking oil about tablespoon of it and then cook it until crispy.

And after that I am going to add the aromatics like garlic, red onion and ginger. Sautee it until the aroma comes out.

Then I am going to add fish sauce about tablespoon of it and let that seep into the meat.

Then I added one chicken broth cube.

Then add coconut milk about 250 ml of it.

And then I am going to use the container of coconut cream to add water I do about two of it.

Let it boil.

Add the pakak or kamansi into the coconut cream.

After that I am going to add the green chilis.

Let it boil for about 5-7 minutes or until tender to eat.

Happy eating! :D
