➤ Five pieces of fish
➤10-12 pieces of gourd
➤A spoonful of chili powder
➤One spoon of coriander powder
➤One spoon of turmeric powder
➤A spoonful of ginger paste
➤A spoonful of garlic paste
➤One cup of chopped onion
➤Chilli strips 5-6
➤A bowl of water
➤Salt to taste
➤10 tablespoons of oil
➤Two or three whole olives
step by step :
First, put ten tablespoons of oil in a pan, rub the koi fish with chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric root with a little salt and fry in light oil. When it is fried, remove it from a bowl. Then fry the onion slices and chili strips in the oil that remains. When it is slightly fried, add turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, ginger paste, garlic paste and salt to taste along with a little water and grind it well. When it is ground, add the gourds to be sliced. Stir the gourds well, cover it with a lid and wait for three to four minutes. Then remove the lid and add a bowl of water, stir well, cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes. Then open the lid again and add the whole fried koi fish. Stir lightly and cover with a lid again. Then simmer for a while longer. When the water dries up slightly, remove it. This is our recipe for today.
I found this recipe using bottle gourd (lau) to be incredibly delicious. Cooking koi fish (climbing perch) with bottle gourd makes for a very tasty dish. In rural areas, people often prepare it using a variety of additional spices, and it is a favorite among them. These koi fish can be found in canals, wetlands, and rivers; they are currently priced at 140 Taka per kilogram. They are most commonly found in the wetlands of rural regions. Do let me know your thoughts in the comments! Stay well and stay healthy—that’s all for today.
