Welcome to my #wednesdaywalk a weekly event hosted by @tattoodjay. We got our first snow last night.
I started my WednesdayWalk by going out to check the garden.
Nobody home this time of year in the birdhouses.
Rain gauge says 3 1/2 inches 😂 Rain gauges really don't work for snow but I guess this one is trying.
Brussel sprouts are looking good. We are holding off to harvest until Thanksgiving next week.
Ok. Now off on a proper walk. The roads have been cleared. I think the road crews are always excited for the first snow and usually out in force, even earlier than normal 🙂
The fields always look nice with a dusting of snow. Not even enough to cover the grass.
On to the lake to check it out.
The snow looks nice on the trees but it will be awhile before the lake starts icing up. I don't know about our little lake but Lake Champlain water temperature is still 46F this morning.
Back home. A little rain coming down now. Hope you enjoyed our first snow of the year ❄️
Now for some fun trying out my new snowblower 😁
