Welcome to my Wednesday fall colors walk. I'm a day late for #wednesdaywalk but the walk was actually yesterday on Wednesday.

It was a rain day for us in Vermont. So I went back and looked at the last couple of Falls. The first photo is from Sugar Hill Reservoir in 2024. I caught it right at golden hour.

Today was a cloudy, overcast day. Fall colors are near peak but the lighting is not good. I was out shooting because tomorrow is going to bet rainy and windy.

Today, I harvested my Liberty apples. This is the first harvest of any quantity I have had from my young orchard project. This Liberty tree was planted on November 7, 2021.

Peak colors at Lake Dunmore. I've been watching this point on the lake for a couple of weeks. Waiting for the colors and watching for good lighting.

My favorite treat from the garden - Cowboy Candy. We had a great crop of Jalapeno peppers this year. I eat some fresh from the garden and my wife adds to salsa but my favorite is Cowboy Candy.

Shaggy Mane are a common, distinctive, wild mushroom in Vermont. They are growing several places around my home so I got several pictures of them in each stage of life.

Abbey Pond is a beautiful fall colors hike. Abbey Pond is wilderness mountain pond near Middlebury, Vermont. The hike to the lake is a little over 2 miles with about 1200 feet elevation gain.
