The eighth round of the POLIAC Golden League tournament brought the biggest sensation of the season and completely shuffled the top of the standings. The competition reached its peak, and the fight for the TOP 8 spots is tighter than ever.

Historical Score and Change in Leadership

New Season Record (SGLB) and Sensation of the Round: The absolute highlight was the clash between previous co-leader @danmaruschak and @erikklok. The match ended not only with a defeat for @danmaruschak but also with a stunning new season record (SGLB) set by @erikklok – 49302 steps! This was @danmaruschak's first loss, though he still received the Best Score among Losers award (21482 steps).

The eighth round of the POLIAC Silver League competition brought more fascinating duels that strengthened the top four and completely changed @alovely088's position.

New Leaders and the End of the Top Five Era

@caspermoeller89's dominance: The POLIAC debutant showed his class once again, achieving the best score of the round (26973 steps), for which he received the 100 AFIT award. His victory in the head-to-head match against @tom45p was crucial. @caspermoeller89 joined @flemingfarm at the top of the table.

Flawless leaders: @flemingfarm recorded his eighth consecutive win with an impressive season record of 26555 steps (SPB). Along with @actifit-godfish and @davidthompson57, who also won, they form a tight Group of Four with 21 or 24 points, pulling away from the rest.

Major victory for @alovely088: The most significant change in the standings is the return of @alovely088 to the podium race. He defeated @silvertop with a season record of 21025 steps (SPB), which nullified the relegated player's advantage and propelled @alovely088 into the 15-point group.

Accolades and Losses

Best score among losers Despite his loss to @caspermoeller89, @tom45p maintained a very high step base, which was rewarded with 100 AFIT. However, he finds himself in an uncomfortable position, remaining in the 15-point group.

Important wins: @jjprac and @elizabethbit secured key victories, solidifying their positions in the middle of the table. @pjansen earned his first points since Round 4.
