The fifth round brought a lot of excitement, more shuffling in the standings, and surprising results, and this is just the beginning. We still have a month full of excitement ahead of us.
The competition in the POLIAC Golden League reached a climax after the fifth round. Several key decisions were made at the top, along with a symbolic breakthrough for one of the players.
The "Big Four" solidify their positions: Four players – @danmaruschak,
@ptaku,
@benbow2017, and
@racibo – maintained a perfect winning record, holding a full 15 points each:
Continued problems for the defending champion: @bucipuci recorded his fifth consecutive loss, falling to
@manuvert. This is the worst start for the most decorated player in POLIAC history, who remains in last place with zero points.
The breakthrough of @manuvert: It's worth noting the victory of
@manuvert, who finally managed to break his losing streak after two defeats, by defeating
@bucipuci. His score (27,657 steps) is his Season Personal Best (SPB), which bodes well for his return to form.
@erikklok's Victory:
@erikklok defeated
@cezary-io, which allows him to stay in the chasing group with 12 points, the closest to the undefeated four.
@revlat35 received the Best score among losers award for his 20,081 steps against the leader, confirming that despite the loss, he is maintaining a high level of performance.

We will also see if @new.things hands
@bucipuci his sixth defeat. And
@browery will fight to break his bad streak in a match against
@fredkese.
The excitement in the POLIAC Golden League is building every day!
The fifth round brought absolute dominance at the top of the table, and the player relegated from the Golden League, @silvertop, showed his best form of the season.
The absolute hero of Round 5 was @silvertop. The player relegated from the Golden League achieved his Season Personal Best (SPB) of 18549 steps and won his match against
@elizabethbit. This score was also the best result of the entire round, for which he was awarded 100 AFIT. This victory catapulted him into the chasing group (12 points).
The most important news from the bottom of the table is the breaking of the "curse of zero" by @pinkhub. He won his match against
@a07 (who did not submit steps for some reason) and gained his first 3 points.
@a07 remains the only player in the league without a single victory.
The award for the best score among the losers (100 AFIT) went to @jjprac (12321 steps), who had to concede defeat to the in-form
@tom45p.
