Saludos y Bendiciones.

Greetings and blessings.!
Friday, training at the stadium. My Friday started very early; I went to the stadium with my husband to do some interval training. We had the stadium all to ourselves today—I love it when the stadium is like that. I started my workout with 4 warm-up laps around the stadium (each lap is 400 meters), covering a total of 1,600 meters in about 13 minutes. Today’s workout consisted of short 100-meter intervals with 15-second rest periods—a very active session. In total, I did 20 sets of 100 meters. I loved this workout because it really gets you moving; you have to stay agile. After completing the first 10 sets, I extended the rest period a bit and took the opportunity to hydrate. Then I restarted the final set of 10.
I ran the 100-meter sets in descending order, starting from 6:18 (the slowest) down to 4:44 seconds (the fastest). I stayed in Zone 4; I could have pushed harder, but since there were so many sets, I wanted to finish the entire workout to really feel the intensity and see how I held up until the end. This trains the mind to finish a workout once you start it, even if you have to pick up the pace. My heart rate peaked at 161 bpm. After finishing the workout, I did a cool-down and spent some time at the stadium with my husband.
And with a beautiful sunset, I said goodbye to the stadium, already ready to head off to work. We continue to diversify our workouts to build a solid foundation and avoid injuries.
