Saludos y Bendiciones Amigos.

ENGLISH VERSION

Greetings and blessings Friends.!

Friday, the last day of the week—we wrapped up the week with an 8-kilometer outdoor jog. Sunrises are coming later now, and daylight is appearing later, so I don’t head out as early; I left home around 5:45 a.m. Today’s plan was a relaxed jog, and pleasant weather accompanied my workout. The route was pretty empty today, since most runners are getting ready to travel to the country’s most popular and iconic race, the Caracas Rock 2026. I felt a little nostalgic about not being able to attend this year, but hey, you can’t force things—what isn’t meant to be, we have to let it be and not force anything, because that’s where problems arise. Of course, it’s a bit sad because it’s a huge celebration where so many runners gather—being among so many people is truly exciting.

Today I maintained an average pace of 6:47 min/km. My heart rate stayed between zones 3 and 4, and I took the opportunity to do some short pace-change drills since it was only a few kilometers. Along the way, I ran into a fellow runner who wasn’t going to Caracas either; he was with some ladies, and they really enjoyed watching me take selfies with my phone—it was fun, even amid the nostalgia I felt for not being able to go to this race. Well, my friend, there will be other races to come; if it’s not your time, you just have to let it be. The sea helped me let go of my nostalgia. To all my runner friends at HIve, I hope you enjoy the race to the fullest.
