Hello, how are you? I have always been craving Tinolang Manok. Yesterday, my dad asked me to cook lunch early today because I don't like cooking so late, and the heat is no joke anymore. My mood changes when it's too hot LOL.

But you know, eating Tinolang Manok is an exception love the broth of it makes me ate more alot. This time, my brother cooked kinamatisang manok, and that's when I realized that tinolang manok is 100% better.

Ingredients I Used:

  • 1 kilo Chicken Wings
  • Ground Pepper
  • Garlic
  • Red Onion
  • Ginger
  • Fish Sauce
  • Hot Water
  • Chicken Broth Cube
  • Sayote
  • Malunggay Leaves

Let's Cook!

In a pot, I added a teaspoon of cooking oil and then add the chicken wings in and add ground pepper in it too. Cook until it gets crispy.

Add the garlic, red onion, and ginger, and let that saut茅 until the aroma comes out.

Then I added about two tablespoons of fish sauce. Let that cook until the moisture has completely evaporated.

It gets oily after, and that's what we need to achieve. And then add water until the chicken is completely drowned.

Add chicken broth cube to the broth. This one add addicting flavor to the broth so if you can make sure to have this.

Cook for about 20 minutes over medium heat. With the lid on.

After 20 minutes, I added sayote and cooked it for about 8-10 minutes or until soft. Make sure not to undercook the sayote and it will end up not taste good.

After that, I am going to add malunggay leaves and cook them for about a minute. Malunggay is healthy, so I added a lot of it.

Serve hot and plated.

Happy eating! :D

Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
