Nuggets de zanahoria

Hola amigos feliz noche a todos espero que s encuentren súper bien , yo soy una fanática de los nuggets y hoy viendo un poco las historias de instagram me llamo mucho la atención una receta super sencilla para preparar unos Nuggets veganos a base de zanahoria, aunque la receta llevaba harina de avena y yo no tenía , así que decidí usar harina de trigo en su lugar , pero si ustedes en casa tienen harina de avena pueden usarla perfectamente, sin más les dejo esta receta muy sencilla y su paso a paso .

Hello friends, happy evening everyone, I hope you are feeling super well, I am a fan of nuggets and today looking a bit at the instagram stories, a super simple recipe to prepare vegan carrot-based nuggets caught my attention, although the recipe had oat flour and I didn't have one, so I decided to use wheat flour instead, but if you have oat flour at home you can use it perfectly, without further ado I leave you this very simple recipe and its step by step.

Para los nuggets de zanahoria vamos a necesitar:
• Una zanahoria grande ( 135gr)
• tres tazas de agua ( para la cocción de la zanahoria)
•Un diente de ajo
• 3 Cucharadas de harina de trigo
• Media cucharadita pequeña de adobo
• Media cucharadita pequeña de sal
• 3 Cucharadas de aceite vegetal

For the carrot nuggets we will need:
• A large carrot (135gr)
• three cups of water (for cooking the carrot)
•A garlic clove
• 3 Tablespoons of wheat flour
• Half a small teaspoon of marinade
• Half a small teaspoon of salt
• 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil

Comenzamos, colocamos una zanahoria grande entera previamente lavada en una olla con unas tres tazas de agua, tapamos y dejamos cocinar por 30 min a fuego alto hasta que la zanahoria este cocida .

We begin, we place a large whole carrot previously washed in a pot with about three cups of water, cover and let it cook for 30 minutes over high heat until the carrot is cooked.

Una vez lista le retiramos la piel a zanahoria, podemos triturar la zanahoria o en mi caso con ayuda del rayador la raye .

Once ready, we remove the carrot skin, we can crush the carrot or in my case, with the help of the grater, scratch it.

Le vamos añadir un diente de ajo finamente picado , y vamos a sazonar con media cucharadita de adobo y media cucharadita de sal , añadimos tres cucharadas de harina de trigo y mezclamos todo super bien .

We are going to add a finely chopped clove of garlic, and we are going to season with half a teaspoon of marinade and half a teaspoon of salt, add three tablespoons of wheat flour and mix everything very well.

Una vez tenemos la mezcla lista la llevamos unos 10 min a la nevera para que agarre mayor consistencia, luego con las manos le damos forma a los nuggets.

Once we have the mixture ready, we take it to the fridge for about 10 minutes so that it takes on a greater consistency, then with our hands we shape the nuggets.

En una sartén agregamos un poquito de aceite aproximadamente unas 3 Cucharadas y llevamos a dorar por ambos lados los nuggets, luego los retiramos del fuego y reservamos .

In a frying pan, add a little oil, approximately 3 tablespoons, and brown the nuggets on both sides, then remove them from the heat and reserve.

Servimos y disfrutamos como queramos , en mi caso los comí en el almuerzo con un poco de arroz , pero puedes comerlo de snacks con algo de salsa de tomate y mostaza y estoy segura que les va genial .

We serve and enjoy as we want, in my case I ate them for lunch with a little rice, but you can eat them as snacks with some tomato sauce and mustard and I'm sure they'll be great.
