Hello Everyone,
Well, we are moving into Autumn in the northern hemisphere. The days have been bright but much cooler. I am getting rich pickings from the garden: the tomatoes are doing well after a slow start and I had my first potatoes yesterday - so delicious, I had them for dinner and tea!
(Source) I went to visit the gardens at Lamport Hall, a Grade 1 stately pile about half an hour's drive from where I live. I went with my sewing group and we posed for a photograph on the steps of the porch.
Lamport Hall is a hidden gem in Northamptonshire boasting wonderful gardens, stunning architecture, [and] an impressive art and furniture collection. The Hall is Grade I listed and is of great architectural importance, showcasing work by John Webb and Smith of Warwick. From 1560 to 1976, the Hall was home to the Isham family, one of the oldest families in Northamptonshire. As a result, the collections have remained virtually untouched throughout the centuries providing a captivating snapshot of life in a country house. Come and see the treasures collected by Sir Thomas Isham on his Grand Tour as a newly inherited teenage Baronet, witness the architectural changes made by two feisty wives in the 19th century, and meet Lampy, the first and only surviving garden gnome to be imported from Germany in the 1800s. The gardens were beautiful, though, I enjoyed sketching and taking pictures for an hour before we went to a nearby pub for a meal - also very nice. A lovely evening! What have you been up to?

There's about 10,000 EDSMMs left now, excellent news for regular savers, plenty of time to build your stash. Savers are looking at a current income of 28% APY - how about that? (Remember that income will change over time: @eddie-earner has given some simulations about that so you can plan your future income against your budget).

We have tried to set up recurring payments but in a test we found the code wasn't able to pick up repeat payments - we'll keep working to find a way round that.
