Yesterday I did a Wednesday Walk: Central Park. After our walk through the park we went to the The Guggenheim and then up to the Conservatory Garden.
This is the furthest north I have been in the park. It was much different than the Cincinnati Conservatory, which I had just visited. The Central Park Conservatory Garden is all outside now. It is named after the glass conservatory that was built on this location in 1899. The Garden opened in 1937.
There are three distinct areas, the French-style North Garden, the Italian Center Garden and the English-Style South Garden.
The gates to enter the garden where quite impressive.
French North Garden
The North Garden has a fountain and a sculpture called Three Dancing Maidens by German artist Walter Schott. In the picture below you can see the French parterre garden.

Italian Center Garden
In the Italian Center Garden there is a fountain and a very cool semicircular pergola covered in wisteria. The pictures below are looking out from the pergola.

The English-Style South Garden has bulbs, annuals, perennials and flowering trees. Here is what it looked like in October.
