Share Our World: String Lake, Wyoming

In July I spent a couple of days with close friends from Arizona camping in the Tetons. They were at the end of their family vacation (they had just been in Yellowstone National Park) and I was just about to start mine family backpacking trip to the Wind River Range.

I LOVE THE TETONS!!

String Lake

String Lake is located in the Grand Teton National Park, and is just north of Jenny Lake, where we were camped. I didn't have a swimsuit so in typical Sara fashion, I took pictures as they played in the lake. It is 1.3 miles (2.1 km) long and .20 miles (.32km) across and very shallow. Will, the teenage son was able to walk across the lake.

The trees and mountains were gorgeous.

Right about 6pm the light was beautiful so I took pictures of each of the kids.

Here are a couple more artistic pictures of McKenzie and Megan.

I loved being back in the Tetons and going to a new place!
