Share Our World: Jenny Lake, Wyoming

The Tetons are on of my favorite places and Jenny Lake is right at the base of these rugged and stunning mountains.

My last post was about String Lake which is 1.3 miles (2.1 km) long and .20 miles (.32km) across and very shallow.

In contrast Jenny Lake is 2.2 mi (3.5 km) and 1.2 mi (1.9 km) and 256 ft (78 m) deep. Which means that there are boats on this lake and a ferry shuttles people from the dock close the visitor's center to the Hidden Falls and Inspiration point trail head.

We were camping at the Jenny Lake campground so get ready for lots of Jenny Lake pictures.

Don't you love reflections!

The color of the trees was so stunning on the water.

This one is a view from close to Inspiration point looking down at the lake. Beautiful!
