(Creative Sunday) - Flavorful Chicken Shami Discs !!!

let's Start.

This dish is very commonly used as a snack, It is specially used when the guests come to your house and you don't have time to cook something, you can fry it in a few minutes and present it before your guests. You can store it for about 2 months in the freezer. There are companies in Pakistan which are selling them as frozen Food. We usually made them at least once a month and kept them in the freezer to be used later. Whenever I am working at night and I feel hungry, I Cook them in the Airfryer and eat them without disturbing my wife. It is better to make them at home.


Ingredients


  • 1 Kg Boneless chicken
  • 1 Kg split chickpeas
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 TableSpoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 8-10 pieces of whole red chilli
  • 1 TableSpoon Whole Spices
  • Salt As per taste
  • 1 TableSpoon Dry coriander Powder
  • 1 TableSpoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 TeaSpoon cumin powder
  • 1 TableSpoon Black Pepper powder.
  • 3 Eggs

Cooking Procedure


First of all, you need to wash the Split Chickpeas and soak it in the water for 1 hour.

We will cook this in the pressure Cooker because cooking in the pressure cooker takes less time. Add the Split Chickpeas to the Pressure Cooker Along with the water.

Now add Whole Red Chillies and Whole Spices in the Pressure Cooker.

Below is the picture that shows the added Whole spices in the pressure cooker.

Now we will add Ginger Garlic Paste to the Pressure cooker.

Now bring the onions, they should be cut into slices.

add them to the pressure cooker.

Now it's time to bring the Dry spices.

Add them to the Pressure cooker.

Wash the Chicken properly

add it to the Pressure Cooker.

After adding chicken, Mix all the ingredients added to the pressure cooker properly.

Now Steam them for about 10-15 Minutes

After 15 Minutes, open the pressure cooker. You can see that all the water got dry and the Split chickpeas and other ingredients got softened.

now we will Grind this material in Marble & Granite Stand Mortar and Pestle Set, you can also grind it in the chopper.

Now we will bring the onions chopped in the chopper.

We will mix the onions in the Shami Kabab materials.

We will also add two eggs.

now we will make shapes in the shaper like shown below.

In the end, Fry it with egg as shown in the figure.

Present them to your guest along with other snacks and Cold drinks. It Taste Awesome.
