Carrot cake

One of my favorite homemade cake recipe is a delicious carrot cake. It is an excellent tea time goodie and and is easy and absolutely divine.  My grandma makes the best carrot cake ever. I will be sharing one of my grandma's famous recipes below:

Ingredients:

• 2 eggs 
• 1 cup brown sugar 
• 2/3 oil 
• 1/4 cup golden syrup 
• 1 cup yogurt 
• 1 cup grated carrot 
• 1/2 tsp salt 
• 1 tsp nutmeg 
• 1 tsp cinnamon powder 
• 2 tsp baking powder 
• 1/2 tsp bicarb 
• Chopped pecans

Preheat oven at 180. Whisk eggs, oil, syrup, yogurt and carrots. Sift dry ingredients. Mix all together and place in baking tray. Bake for about 45 minutes and enjoy.
