Welcome to my #wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay. On my walk today I decided to focus on the lake. The lake will always #makemesmile. My lake is Lake Dunmore in Addison County, Vermont. It straddles the towns of Salisbury and Leicester. According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Dunmore, Lake Dunmore has a surface area of 985 acres and is 2 miles long and 0.6 miles across. It is up to105 ft deep.
There are many ways to enjoy the lake. This dock has some colorful Adirondack chairs and kayaks.
Many summer cottages line the shores. Along with some year round houses. The lighting made for nice reflections this morning 馃槏
About anything that floats will eventually be seen on the lake.
Here's a patio and firepit with a nice view of the lake and the reflections of the Green Mountains on the opposite shore.
And of course the classic way to enjoy the lake, a swiming dock. I prefer a nice walk around the shore. And enjoy sharing my lake with you. Happy #wednesdaywalk! 鈽笍馃槑
Bonus pics! The many moods of the lake (not taken on today's Wednesday Walk)
Sunny with a touch of clouds.
Cloudy. Rain clouds passing over.
Pure blue skies.
