Hello! I hope everyone is doing well.
This week has been very busy for me—so much so that only today have I been able to post about the walk I took this past Wednesday morning. I was taking my son to basketball practice at a park court that is within walking distance for us. Although it isn't right next door, it isn't too far away either, making walking a great option for us.
Going there was perfect for me because I was able to snap some special photos to share in this post. I came across little details that gave me wonderful reasons to take pictures while my son was at practice.
Later on, I’ll share the highlight of what I observed during this outing. First, I should mention that the park has exercise equipment; people of all ages go there to work out or walk their pets, and it’s also a lovely spot for reading, chatting, or simply sitting and relaxing.
It is a very cool, refreshing park thanks to its many tall trees, which provide plenty of shade and a carpet of fallen leaves—I imagine the heavy rain we’ve had each night causes even more leaves to drop.
There are also electric scooters for rent; when I arrived, there were several, but before long, only one was left.
I look up, and it is soothing to see the interlocking treetops forming a vast canopy that shields us from the direct rays of the sun.
Now, it is time for the highlight of what I observed in the park while waiting for my son to finish basketball practice. Well, I’ve mentioned trees and fallen leaves; now, one of the city’s unsung heroes arrives. He is an elderly gentleman—all the more admirable for it. He arrives calmly and parks his cart, which serves as the container for all the equipment he needs to clean the ground.
That area is already finished. The unsung hero has swept up and gathered all the leaves from the ground, leaving the space clean for park visitors. He moves on to another area, and I watch him with admiration.
I had to head to the court to wait for Alan, because he was finishing basketball practice.
As I was leaving the park, I came across some yellow chrysanthemums and took a few photos of them. Look at the little friends gathering there for pollination.
It was a productive morning for everyone. It was for Alan, for the entire group of students, for the coach, for me as well, and for the city's unsung hero.
If you were here, joining me on my Wednesday walk, I really appreciate it and thank you.
A hug!

¡Hola!
