Join us for a tour of a few waterfalls in the Green Mountains for this weeks #wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay
Moss Glen falls are a short hike from Highway 100 in central Vermont.
A trail bridge over the stream was damaged in the recent floods so we had to ford a small stream to reach the falls. Well more of hopping from rock to rock 馃檪
Here's some info on the falls.
We drove over Lincoln Gap on the way over. Its the highest pass in Vermont and the road is crazy steep. Supposedly some of the steepest paved road in the US at 24% grade!
We had planned to hike along the Long Trail in the Breadloaf Wilderness but it was foggy, rainy and slick so we switched our plans.
We will be back on a nicer fall day.
Instead we pressed on to Warren Falls.
Nice easy hike into these falls.
The rainy day plus very wet summer has kept the waterflow over the falls going.
Here's some info on Warren Falls.
It was a pretty day. The fall colors will be here soon.
Another small fall near Moss Glen Falls.
Another fun adventure in my hand me down truck I recently got from my Dad. See the red tree behind in the woods? Stay tuned for fall colors coming soon 馃檪
