Walking Through the Busy Streets of Guimaras: Spaghetti Wires, Local Art, And Noisy Streets

Good day, Hivers!! A wonderful day to you all. ☀️
I always share my peaceful walks in nature, but today, I'll take you to the busy streets of my town.

It all started on one boring afternoon. My husband and I decided to go to my sister's house for a quick chat. They live around 2 kilometers away from our house. It was a few hours after lunchtime, but the sky was filled with white, fluffy clouds. They even covered the sun, so it wasn't too bright and hot.
Notice the steel road barrier with a mango design. It was built this year just in time for Manggahan Festival.
I love seeing that plants are well maintained. There are palm trees and some Palawan cherry blossoms.
But what I dislike about this walk is the continuous noise of vehicles. Well, of course, I'm on the highway; what should I expect? 😂 Another thing is the endless line of people you'll run into. Well, this is not much compared to walking on the city streets. And that's one of the reasons why I went back here after living in the city for a few years.
And the annoying overhead wiring, or we call it spaghetti wires 😂 because of how they look.
Here's the nicest part of my walk. The new Visitor's Hub in Guimaras.
A few weeks ago, the province held an event where hundreds of young artists from different parts of Guimaras participated in the painting event at the Visitor’s Hub with the new Guimaras brand—“Mangoes and More.”
Each figure represents a municipality, tourist spot or a product in Guimaras. It may look simple but has a lot of meaning.
in front of the Visitor's Hub are some of the old trees in the capitol area. It's nice to see them still here.
