Most mornings I walk down to Lake Dunmore. Its about 1.5 miles. Lake Dunmore is in Addison County, Vermont straddling the towns of Salisbury and Leicester.
The lake is beautiful but the walk is nice too. Tree lined lanes with the fields edged in old rock walls.
I always keep my eyes open for wildflowers. This pretty blue flower is chicory.
The daisies are still blooming. The heavy morning dew plays with the morning light on these daisies.
I've also been keeping my eyes on the wild berries.
I tried a few of these wild raspberries. Tart but yummy. Not quite ripe but I wasn't sure if they would last. I think the birds and bears will make short work of the wild berries when they ripen up.
I passed some young summer campers along the road then finally reached the lake. Nice reflection in the morning light.
The morning sun was bright this morning reflecting off the water and this boat.
