Today the skies were soooo blue. Here are the lovely blue skies reflecting on a small hydroelectric pond near my home.
Here is the blue sky coming through a nice stand of maples.
My walk took me along this rock wall with the blue sky overhead.
And then along this shaded road.
The blue sky was above all along the road.
And over the adjacent fields.
It was hard to capture but the bright day penetrated the canopy lighting the forest floor.
A few random things also captured my eye. Like this pickerel frog (Lithobates palustris). They are very similar to leopard frogs but the pattern on the back is different.
And of course, there's #alwaysaflower 🌻🙂 like this hydrangea
or this gorgeous painted daisy.
And lovely flowers always #makemesmile like these Rudbeckia.
I had to get down low for this fun mushroom shot.
Some things aren't as fun like this paper wasp nest. Not fun but still interesting.
And all my walks end up at the lake. These blue skies reflecting on the lake even got my back on my theme - blue skies 🤣
