Brave bird, isn't he? I'm about to tell you where I met them.
I faced a challenge yesterday. I wanted to buy a souvenir for my uncle who came to Poland from far away after many years to visit. I had absolutely no idea what would be the best gift. A pigeon pecking at grains on the counter of a souvenir store on Dlugi Targ gave me a hint. He was the one who attracted my attention yesterday. The saleswoman said that she always has seeds for her winged friends who often visit her. She also invited me to the second part of the souvenir store located downstairs in the basement of the tenement house. It turned out that the prices were competitive. A nice lady behind the counter advised me a wooden box with decoupage on it, on which a reproduction of a view of Gdańsk painted by a local artist. The box cost as much as two magnets, and I also got a "lucky" amber for my uncle as a free gift. I hope the recipient will like the souvenir.
