Many people think that they cannot write. Maybe a harsh critic or a careless word by a teacher was the originator of that idea. We, the freewriters, believe that everyone can write and we use the 5 Minute Daily Freewrite Prompt as a starting point to get the creative juices flowing.
We are an international group and have Freewrite Daily Prompts in English, Spanish, and German. All are welcome here.

- BE NICE! Read other Freewriters work, and leave positive comments. If you can't think of anything nice to say: move on!
- BE ORIGINAL - NO plagiarism, NO AI-generated stories (write your own story; that is kinda the whole point!) Freewrite from your own mind, don't copy and paste, use your brain! Do not copy posts from other people (or other platforms): repeat offenders will be muted
- BE HERE - to avoid spam ONLY cross posts related to Freewrite prompt allowed. Cross posts must be authorised by Admin/Moderators. Any unauthorised Cross Posting will be muted.
- If you are new to Freewriters please write an introductory post (or include a paragraph about yourself in your first Freewriters post). Tell us why you like writing or why you want to write
- We're a community! Follow other community members and read and comment on their Freewriter posts
- We work closely with HiveWatcher and Spaminator. We mute spammers; you won't be rewarded if you are on a blacklist (do the work, get off the list)
