There is something fascinating about men in this country and their relationship with bottled water. Well, I am generalizing; but, I think it is a common case for all of us.

Like we will happily spend Rs. 10,000 on food without blinking an eye. Just kidding! But you know, when we gotta eat, we will. Order this dish, this one too because one in the group is a veg, then some good cookies or brownies, and name it a decent, richy evening.

But the moment waiter brings a bottle of water worth Rs. 150, suddenly the department of finance gives warning.

One question for the water: "is thiss complimentary?"

"No, sir."

From this moment on, bottle will stay with us till the end. And no one is allowed to open it, not even touching it. To us, it is like a hand grenade, if opened, you all are done for.

Why though? I really do not have any idea about it. Maybe because water is available everywhere, so paying for it feels unnecessary. But then, food is also available at home. So what is the speciality behind it?

But one thing is for sure, a Rs. 10,000 dinners feels like an experience aka memories, while a Rs. 150 bottle feels like a debt on our financial dignity.

So men of my country will negotiate with a bottle of water after surrendering their entire salary to a restaurant.

Priorities, gentlemen, priorities!
