In the winter season I rarely visit the seaside, the cold wind scares me away. Taking advantage of the nice spring weather.
I went yesterday with a few students after classes to rollerblade on the bike path by the sea. How good it is to move in the fresh air... and how we enjoyed waffles on the beach in Brzezno...
Regan Park is a favorite place for many Gdansk citizens, where you can ride a bike and rollerblade, walk among the grass and the seaside grove, and make a picnic in the summer. The park was created less than 20 years ago between the districts of Przymorze and Jelitkowo.
Admittedly, there are no natural monuments here, but there are two picturesque ponds with birds and many playgrounds. Certainly, the proximity of the sea makes this place very popular.
In the park you can find, among other things, a giant stamp, a fat man with a pinwheel and other sculptures, some of which were created during the open-air sculpture and spatial forms festival.
The park also has room for beautifully crafted sculptures by Milewski and Szycik depicting Ronald Regan and Pope John Paul II.
- Park visitors associate a sculpture near the parking lot along the street, as if it were three trumpets - yellow, red, and blue, which are titled "A Sounder of Thoughts" . If we're having a hard time making a decision, maybe it's worth going there to get an answer when the trumpets publicize our thoughts...
