🇵🇱 Sobotnie FBW + update Stravy / 🇬🇧 Saturday FBW + Strava Update: October 10 2026
🇵🇱 Powoli wracam do normalnego treningu
🇬🇧 Slowly getting back to normal training
My calf is clearly feeling better than it did a few days ago, but I still don’t want to overload it, so running is on hold for now. Instead, I started with 20 minutes on the elliptical — the first 10 minutes very easy, the next 10 at a more aerobic effort. It turned out to be a good choice because the calf stayed calm the whole time, with no pain and no uncomfortable pulling. Right now, this kind of movement seems to work best for me.
🇬🇧 Full body, but with some common sense
After the elliptical, I did a full-body workout, just slightly limited when it came to the legs. No leg press, no calf raises and nothing that could unnecessarily load the calf. On the other hand, wherever I could train harder without irritating it, I didn’t hold back too much. Rows, pulldowns, assisted pull-ups and the leg exercises that felt safe all went really well. The session came out at 11,521 kg of total volume, 294 reps and 30 sets, which is about 7% more volume than the week before with the same number of sets and repetitions.
🇬🇧 Strava finally added something I’ll actually use
I also discovered a new Strava feature, and this one can genuinely save me a lot of time. Until now, after every strength session I had to search for each exercise separately, add it manually and then enter all the sets, reps and weights one by one.
Now I simply keep my usual training notes as I go, then paste the whole text into Strava. The AI recognizes the exercises and turns it into a ready-made workout breakdown.
I also tried adding the workout directly from one of my AI-made training graphics, but Strava didn’t handle that very well. Plain text, however, worked really well, so for me this is still a very useful improvement.
🇵🇱 Wieczorem jeszcze mały bonus
Na tym aktywny dzień się nie skończył. Wieczorem wpadłem do kumpla, który kupił trochę sprzętu do treningu siłowego, więc oczywiście trzeba było zrobić szybki test. Bez żadnego konkretnego planu treningowego — po prostu kilka ćwiczeń, trochę wyciskania, wiosłowania, barków i przysiadów, żeby zobaczyć jak sprzęt działa w praktyce.
Wyszło około 40 minut luźnego treningu i 14 serii.
🇬🇧 A small bonus in the evening
The active day didn’t end there. In the evening I visited a friend who had just bought some strength-training equipment, so of course we had to test it. There was no real training plan behind it — just a few exercises, some bench pressing, rows, shoulder work and squats to see how the equipment felt in practice.
It ended up being around 40 minutes of relaxed training and 14 sets. I wouldn’t call it a second full workout, more like testing the gear and getting in a bit of extra movement at the end of the day.
🇬🇧 That’s enough for today
The most important thing is that the calf is behaving much better, the elliptical causes no pain, and I can once again get some proper work done in the gym. I’m still not rushing back to running. I’d rather give it a few more calm days than return too early and lose another week or two.
Training-wise, though, things are moving in the right direction again, and after the recent break I’m finally starting to feel like everything is settling back into place.
