Hi bloggers and food lovers, happy weekend! What are you cooking today? Today I'm going to share a simple and quick recipe to fill your weekend. The savory, sweet, and spicy flavors make for a delicious side dish. The ingredients are easy to find, and it's quick to cook. Okay, let's get started.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg tofu
  • 1 pack of enoki mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon salted soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 100 ml water
  • 2 red chilies
  • half a spring onion
  • butter

Steps:

  • Clean the ingredients and chop the chilies and spring onion, then set aside.

  • Cut the egg tofu to your liking. I cut it into 10 pieces.

  • Coat with cornstarch.

  • Fry in hot oil and do not flip too often or the egg tofu will break apart.

  • Once cooked and browned, remove and drain.

  • Prepare a bowl and add sweet soy sauce, salted soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili sauce, garlic powder, white pepper, and black pepper, then add water.

  • Stir until well mixed and set aside.

  • Sauté the enoki mushrooms briefly with a little butter until they release water.

  • Add the fried egg tofu.

  • Pour the sauce that was made earlier over it.

  • When it starts to boil, add the chopped chili and spring onion.

  • Cook over low heat for about 7 minutes to allow the sauce to absorb.

  • Turn off the heat and serve with warm rice.
