Hi bloggers and food lovers, how’s your day going? I hope you’re having a great day. Today I’m going to share my favorite lunch dish lately, Singapore-style chili prawn. It’s savory and sweet, perfect with warm rice. It’s not too spicy and tastes delicious. Okay, let’s get right to it.
Ingredients:
- 250 grams of prawn
- 100 grams red chili peppers
- 1/2 tomato
- 4 cloves garlic
- 10 shallots
- cooking oil
- 2 kaffir lime leaves
- 2 bay leaves
- 150 ml water
- 1 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 onion, sliced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
Instructions:
Peel the prawn and rinse thoroughly
Set aside
- Prepare the shallots, garlic, red chili peppers, and tomato
- Place them in a blender and add oil
- Blend all ingredients until well combined
- Add the chili peppers to a pan with hot oil
- Add the sliced onion
- Sauté the chili peppers and onion until cooked through and fragrant
- Add the bay leaves and kaffir lime leaves
- Stir briefly until fragrant, then add water
- Add chili sauce tomato sauce, sugar, salt, and oyster sauce for seasoning
- Add the prawn to the pan and cook until half-done
- Crack the eggs and beat them lightly
- Pour the beaten eggs into the pan
- Cook briefly until set
- Add the chopped green onions
- Turn off the heat and serve on a plate
