Ingredients:
500 grams oyster mushrooms
2 eggs
300 grams all-purpose flour
100 grams rice flour
black pepper
salt
garlic powder
cooking oil
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp ground black pepper
100 ml water
50 ml cornstarch slurry
Instructions:
Remove the stems from the mushrooms, then tear the mushrooms into small pieces
Rinse under running water and pour hot water over them
Drain the mushrooms and squeeze out the excess water
Add garlic powder and ground pepper on top
Crack the egg and add it to the bowl
Stir until well combined
Prepare a mixture of all-purpose flour and rice flour then add garlic powder
Stir the flour mixture until well combined
Place the mushrooms in the flour
Coat until all surfaces of the mushrooms are evenly coated
Place the mushrooms in the preheated oil
Cook until the mushrooms are cooked through and browned
Remove and drain
For the black pepper sauce, place the minced garlic in a bowl
Add oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, and soy sauce to the bowl
Add black pepper to the bowl
Add water and stir until well combined
Pour the sauce mixture into a pan and add a little more water
Cook until the sauce comes to a boil
Add the cornstarch slurry, then stir until the sauce thickens
Add the fried mushrooms
Toss until the mushrooms are coated with the black pepper sauce
Serve on a plate
