Warming up a rainy day with a hearty chili. On a budget and with minimal effort.

Hi friends!

Just wanted to share a quick and easy way to warm up your day with chili soup.

Everyone knows that usually making chili soup takes a while if you make it from scratch.
Buying ingredients in cans - precooked, may turn your cooking into expensive dish (you may be better off just spending your money at a restaurant...).
So here's a little "lifehack" for a day when you need a warm meal.
This will work for those of you in North America - you can find the ingredients in almost any store. 😊
... and you will need only 3 things:

Darn good chili soup mix
Tomato paste
Ground beef (optional)

To have it really low maintenance, get your crock pot ready.

Put ground beef on the bottom

Turn settings in high and let it warm up a little: 10-15 minutes.

In the meantime you train your furry friends that are patiently waiting something yummy to fall in their dishes. You make them sit. If they are obedient they get a little bit of the meat they've been eyeing since the very beginning.

Then you pour the mix, a few cups of water (3-4) and whisk in 6 oz of tomato paste in the pot.

Now close the pot, turn setting to low and..... go play video games/ study.
The aroma will let you know the soup is ready. It'll be very good.

Pour it in a bowl, garnish with cheese or sour cream (or both), grab the biggest spoon and enjoy!
