Good Day Everyone,

Season 8 is coming to an end (semifinals will played later this week), so it's time to announce schedule for Season 9. As always, it will start with Eliminations. They are played in three stages and who starts when depends on their @macfit Ranking Table position. The top 23 will benefit by either

direct access to Champions League group phase
beginning qualifiers from Round 2
beginning qualifiers from Round 1

Everyone else starts the Eliminations in Pre-Qualifiers. See roster at the bottom of this post.

Ranking Table - Top 23

Let's see the schedule and roster. Since Season 8 is still in progress, there will be some shifts in the three privileged groups.

The players listed under "Pre-Qualifiers" will not move up and therefore they should take note of the schedule - the pre-qualifiers will be held on Friday, June 17 - Monday, June 20. I will explain the rules for Pre-qualifiers in a later post. Basically the participants "walk alone" - they publish @actifit report cards for the four days of the pre-qualifiers. Top 8 advance to Champions League Qualifiers - Round 1 and next 16 will play in Consolation Cup Qualifiers - Round 1. Bonuses will be applied and failing to produce at least two reports means disqualification.

Rounds 1 and 2 of both tournaments are held in play-offs mode with two matches in each pair. Winners advance to the next rounds. Losing sides - either end the play (in Consolation Cup path) or are transferred to the next round of Consolation Cup (in Champions League path).

Awards will be sponsored by @actifit (@pjansen) and @aliveprojects (@flaxz.alive). They also come from @macfit upvote treasure (the more upvotes in Season X, the higher reward pool in Season X+1). This will be covered in another post - after I distribute the awards for the current season.
