What if you give yourself the trophy today?.
Every time I close a day, a week or start a new one, I make a retrospective of what I have achieved. I have accustomed my mind to collecting small trophies such as: things that I set out and achieved, challenges that I overcame and also those unexpected situations that appeared without asking for permission ... and that I also managed to solve... Sometimes with a lot of resilience and effort.
One of the exercises that I work on in my personal activities and also in the professional ones is just this: take inventory of achievements... Why do I do it? Well, because not always the "thanks" will come from outside. There will not always be applause, recognition or someone telling you: “You did well!”... Phew and I'm speaking from my own experience.
Transition is the action and effect of moving from one state to another. It doesn't happen by accident. It is built.
Any effective transition requires transforming three dimensions: the
thoughts, emotions and actions. If one of them remains anchored to the past, the change will be just an illusion. When several people are involved in a transition, clear rules, fair agreements and a shared purpose that favors everyone involved are also necessary.
But the first step is always internal letting go of the beliefs that kept us tied to the old model, to make room for a new level of consciousness.
Calm down. May your superpower be to do what belongs to you and know how to delegate. Delegating is not disengaging. It is to recognize that others are also capable.
There is a false idea of efficiency: "If I want it to turn out well, I have to do everything myself.” In fact, many times that reveals difficulty in distributing, trusting and leading.
Because hyper-vigilance and control don't make you more efficient. They wear you down. Mentally, physically and emotionally.
Leading our life is also knowing when to do, when to accompany and when to let go. It's not just about changing places. It is about changing the way we see, feel and act to build a new reality.
This is how August goes... 🌿
I woke up today more grateful than ever. At a time when the world is looking at unexpected changes, at what is coming and what is not coming, this month that is almost over, leaves me with a certainty: the best state to live in is the present, especially when we learn to contemplate it.
That's why we need to build our own internal voice. The one who knows how to recognize the effort, celebrate the progress and practice self-gratification, with the satisfaction of the completed work and with gratitude to those who, in one way or another, contributed to me being able to achieve my goals, and now I'm asking you...What is your balance sheet? Make your own inventory. A lot to be thankful for. A lot to look at. So much to celebrate. I recognize my little trophies, because I also deserve to hear from myself: “You did it. And you did it right."As often as necessary. Of the most valuable things in life self-criticism, self-reflection, self-acceptance and your own mistakes.
