We live in an era of infinite possibilities, but paradoxically, we inhabit an emotional void that nothing seems to fill, and we ask ourselves why is nothing enough for us?

Have you noticed that today it seems more difficult than ever to be at peace with who we are? Do you believe your story? Or are you being attacked by impostor syndrome?

Today we see people rejecting their biology, their history and even their own humanity, trying to fit into identities built by fanciful desire, while demanding that the world not only accept it, but celebrate it.

But beware: although evolutionary psychology tells us that we are programmed to always look for more, I think that to a large extent social networks have warped that impulse and exacerbated it in a very worrying way. We are comparing our "real life with the edited video of others, and in that clash, our self-esteem is shattered, and even, we are questioning our identity to lead us to want to be “other things" to feel that we belong or fit in... Ask the Therians.

If you do not accept yourself, if you are just looking to change the packaging and even what you are, the void will still be there but you can also go as far as putting your health at risk, because the experts are clear: permanent dissatisfaction raises cortisol, inflames your body and little by little the deterioration that it causes will lead to a disease.

The real revolution or real challenge is not to change so that others accept you; it is to have the courage to accept yourself, in a world that tries to sell you that being yourself is not enough or it's okay.

I don't know what's going on... Why this tendency to chronic dissatisfaction? Why this fervent desire to be “the other”?... And it is that our actions have consequences...

It is naive to think that our actions will have no consequences. We often choose things, or act without imagining the possible outcomes they could have. And usually we become aware of that when something went wrong, however, we choose to blame fate, bad luck... we don't think that our decisions led us to that place.

We don't stop to think that the way we treat people ends up having a very significant impact on our future. And although there are conflicts that can be fruitful and lead to growth, many when you think about them were not worth it.

I think that before any situation, there is respect and that before making a decision we must think very carefully to analyze the pros and cons, think about the possible consequences. Are you willing to bear the consequences of your actions? If so, move on... but, if you haven't thought about this, take the time to reflect on this.
