There are moments in life when I feel the need to pause, take a deep breath, and reflect on the journey I have traveled so far. I try to look inward, understand my current circumstances, and ask my inner self honestly: will life continue this way? Will I remain in a difficult financial situation forever, even as so many dreams and hopes remain tucked away in my mind?
The question may sound simple, but it actually harbors an internal struggle that is not easy to explain to others.
To be honest, I yearn for a better life a more decent existence, free from the constant shadow of worry over daily necessities. I want to stop calculating every single expense with a sense of anxiety, and I want to stop feeling small when I see others who have far greater opportunities than I do.
I also want the agency to steer the direction of my own life; I want to work not merely to survive, but to build something of value for my future.
Yet, reality does not always unfold the way we dream it will.
There are times when financial hardship weighs heavily on the mind鈥攚ith limited income, a lack of open doors, the persistent pressure of daily needs, and an uncertain future. This creates a strain that is difficult to escape; even when the body rests, the mind remains restless, constantly searching for ways to improve the situation.
I have come to realize that financial hardship is not just a matter of the numbers in a bank account. It often affects one鈥檚 self-confidence, the courage to make decisions, and even how one perceives their own future.
There is a sense of falling behind when watching others progress, a sadness that arises from realizing some dreams have yet to be fulfilled, and a deep-seated desire to prove to myself that I am capable of achieving something far greater than my current circumstances.
Yet, I am striving hard; I refuse to let these feelings extinguish the remaining spark of spirit in my life.
It is true I must stop viewing this setback as the end of the road but how?
Perhaps I have spent too much time dwelling on what I lack: opportunities that have yet to arrive, insufficient funds, and a reality that falls short of my expectations.
Without realizing it, focusing so heavily on my limitations has made me forget that there are still things I can strive for.
I still possess the desire to learn; I still have time for self-improvement; I can still seek out new knowledge, identify opportunities, build skills, and explore different paths.
Perhaps I need to grasp one crucial truth: my current economic situation does not have to define what my life will look like ten years from now.
I must not use past failures as an excuse to stop trying, nor should I constantly compare my own life鈥檚 journey to the paths taken by others.
I believe that every human being starts from a different point, facing unique challenges, possessing distinct abilities, and encountering varied opportunities. Some are granted an easier path from the very beginning, while others must build everything from a state of extreme limitation.
Perhaps I am among those who must struggle longer and harder鈥攂ut a long, arduous journey does not mean there is no future.
Today, I choose to learn to accept reality without losing the courage to change it.
One thought I must instill deep within my soul today is this:
"I want to build a life, not merely survive."
There is a vast difference between living solely to meet today鈥檚 immediate needs and building a life for the future鈥攁 distinction I am sure you understand well.
When I am under economic pressure, my thoughts are often consumed entirely by how to secure the money needed for the next immediate necessity; this is, of course, essential, as the basic requirements of life cannot be ignored.
Yet, I do not want to remain trapped forever in a cycle that revolves only around survival.
I want to begin thinking further ahead.
I aspire to secure a better source of income. I want to understand how money works, how economic opportunities evolve, how technology can be leveraged, and how skills can be transformed into something of economic value.
Today, I must have the courage to learn new things even if they prove difficult at first. This is a certainty; there are no easy paths when starting from a position like mine today.
