LOH312 || ‎I am a lady from the tropics, who loves the Christmas season

I need a change of weather, or air to clear the mind and strengthen the spirit. Because “Change of air or season”, and I love this expression, which literally means to breathe new air, get out of the usual environment and change perspective. I need to get out of the city and listen to nature.…

I love the Christmas season because I usually travel around this time to change the atmosphere. For me, traveling this season is something that I have done a lot, I always need to do it, not only because it is amazing but because I really believe that it transforms our perspective. You think that when you travel you will get to know places, customs, culture, but we end up getting to know new versions of ourselves.

Because traveling is also about discovering that there are other ways of living, other ways of thinking and many more possibilities than we imagined.

And even if we return to the same place, to the same house and to the same routine, something inside us is no longer the same. It is to return with the batteries at 100%. You become more motivated a... keep traveling, getting to know places, people..., and this for me is gratifying.

Maybe that's what it's about, I'm trying to live in the present this season but looking ahead to know where we want to go and where we don't. Looking to the horizon, not to the ground, not to the back, not to what others are doing, but forward to the path that opens up to us, at the end of the Christmas season towards the year to come.

I'm amazed at the ability we have to make space for what matters to us, but there's one thought that blew my mind even more: we have to be selective with what we label as important. Sometimes we give too much importance to things that are not important, so that space reserved in the agenda should be reserved for those who really have that importance: our people, our dreams, our rest, our health. Sometimes I have to rescue parts of me in this season that were sunk, I do it in rescue mission mode, reset to start over, and this makes me prosperous and happy. A giant hug, Mrs. ‎@thekittygirl 🌹❤️
