There are stories that remind us why we do what we do. And this is one of them.

Infidelity always comes to confuse, clutter and upset us. Look, it's not just the betrayal, it's the promise that was broken. That's why it hurts so much, because not only does love go away, trust also breaks down.

There is anger, pain in the soul but we also feel disappointment.

Infidelity as such, is the promise that was broken, it's that you trusted that they were going to be with you "only" for life and they broke that promise and what it feels like is horrible, going down that road leaves self-esteem very wounded.

In addition to everything that hurts, so the ego, self-confidence (self-confidence) and all the things that are presented based on love for oneself. So it's completely normal to feel all this is absolutely real and that we have to give the time.

I have seen too many couples in my family, among friends, including one of my daughters separating despite loving each other. I've seen a lot of pain in the name of love. I think that if one wants love to last, one has to look for it in emotional places where it flourishes.

It is always necessary that the couple has a similar vision regarding love, its exercise and the goal that he wants to give it. With those ingredients it is not that there is a guarantee, but, at least, there is a better average, there is more possibility, there is more hope.

Nor can we always distrust, because it is the number 1 enemy of love. You can't commit to a relationship and, at the same time, think that the person you love is betraying you. Especially because love implies vulnerability and trust, consequently, thinking that the other is in weird pods, causes your capacity for love, self-esteem and security, to be eroded to such an extent that you can totally lose them.

It has happened to me... and not precisely because I distrust!!. Maybe the only thing we need is to give ourselves that love that we expect from someone else...

Keeping silent is not an option when the couple's problem is there, swallowing the anger, canceling yourself and continuing to endure “to avoid” only kills the relationship, ending our mental peace and our self-esteem. 😬

We have to respect the internal times, honor every stage, every relationship, every bond, every connection, there is no reason to run to let go of the affective bonds of the past, nor why to run to meet someone new or resume a bond with an ex. What is going to be will be. Always trust. Take the time you need to hurt, to be alone, to build the new.

Look, a piece of advice from this new day, unsolicited, but I'm going to tell you anyway: Talk! Don't keep quiet. Talking opens the door to a solution.

Saying "so far” is not selfishness; it is self-respect... "The words that are not said: they hurt, they hit, they sting, they burn; they destroy the tissues of the body and of the spirit" - Almudena Grandes.
