Happy month of November. May we never lack reasons to celebrate what truly remains.
I start this month with a metaphor that my lifelong friends gave me, from childhood, with their celebration of Eternal Love and that symbolic crossing over the Eternal Bridge to friendship. A tribute to that which, despite time and everything that changes, always prevails.
There are experiences that keep me deeply connected with life, in that state of contemplation that for some may even seem surreal. But there are some things that don't need an explanation, just to feel them.
And then I ask myself: what is the eternal?
Perhaps that which we cannot touch, but which remains. What transcends moments, circumstances and even our own existence. The affections, the memories, the emotions, the traces that we leave and those that others leave on us.
And you know what? It is precisely from that connection with the eternal that I choose to live life. And if we don't agree on that path, I can't accept or I can't with certain things... it's better to let go so that you can find someone who can or life will show me the ways…
I don't want the one I love to be like an anxiety medication... I want a human being.
It's special, as always, to share with good friends. And my congratulations to all the people who make these beautiful things possible, able to turn an idea into an experience that invites us to feel, remember and contemplate. We have the sacred right to decide with whom to work, live, in short with whom to bond.
Because choosing with whom we share our time and talent also has to do with our values and our life purpose, based on premises... And why not do it in our life too? We can all establish principles that guide our decisions and behaviors, and be able to identify our values and anti-values. Yes, we all have both. But to understand our values is to recognize what moves us to action and distinguishes us.
I wish that every November dawn puts us in front of a crossroads, something like putting our eyes or focus on the obstacles or discovering the opportunities in everything that happens. Feed the complaint or hold on to the thanks. Acting out of fear or moving forward with confidence. The calmness of our soul does not depend on what is happening outside, but from the point of view from which we decide to look.
Giving space in our heart to gratitude and joy is an act of the will; and the instant we make them our stance on life, everything around us is transformed for the better.
I am telling you from conviction. This post is also a thank you... To all the people who read my content in this community... We're moving on!.
