Keeping promises to your children is a very important aspect in the bible which we are not expected to neglect at all. God is a good God who usually keep all His promises and He also wants us to keep our own promises to our children.
Parents and guardians should teach their children have to keep to promises, whereby whatever you promise the children always keep to the promise that is where they usually learn from. When a promise is made, every reasonable effort should be made to fulfill it. If circumstances prevent the promise from being kept, it is important to explain the situation honestly and avoid making promises that cannot be fulfilled.
Parents should also discipline their children where they default so that they can learn in the good ways of God. Keeping promises helps to build a strong relationship between parents and children because it creates a sense of security, trust, and respect.
