Feliz noche amigos. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una receta típica de Venezuela, y que normalmente en una fiesta no pueden faltar. Son unos deliciosos tequeños o también conocidos como dedos de queso.
Good night friends. Today I want to share with you a typical recipe from Venezuela, and that normally at a party cannot miss it. They are delicious tequeños or also known as cheese fingers.
Para hacer los tequeños necesitamos:
- 3 tazas de harina de trigo.
- 5 cucharadas de mantequilla.
- 1 huevo.
- media taza de agua.
- 1 cucharadita de sal.
- 2 cucharadas de azúcar.
- 1 cucharada de levadura.
- 250 gr de queso blanco duro.
To make the tequeños we need:
- 3 cups of wheat flour.
- 5 tablespoons of butter.
- 1 egg.
- half cup water.
- 1 teaspoon salt.
- 2 tablespoons of sugar.
- 1 tablespoon of yeast.
- 250 gr of white cheese.
Comenzamos tamizando las 3 tazas de harina de trigo.
We start by sifting the 3 cups of wheat flour.
Ahora vamos a colocar las dos cucharadas de azúcar.
Now we are going to place the two tablespoons of sugar.
Ahora agregamos la levadura.
Now we add the yeast.
Ahora agregamos la sal.
Now we add the salt.
Al tener bastante materia grasa la masa queda bien sabrosa. Vamos a colocar la mantequilla.
As it has a lot of fat, the dough is very tasty. We are going to place the butter.
Al momento de preparar la masa tenía dos yemas y fue lo que coloque. Quedó bastante bien.
At the time of preparing the dough it had two yolks and it was what I placed. It turned out pretty good.
Ahora a nuestra mezcla agregamos el agua y amasamos bien. Y la dejamos reposar.
Now we add the water to our mixture and knead well. And we let it rest.
Así queda la masa y es momento de dejarla reposar por 30 minutos.

Ahora vamos a estirar la masa.

Luego de estirar la masa la vamos a cortar en tiras. Con las cuales vamos a envolver el queso.

Para acompañar nuestros tequeños preparamos una salsa con mayonesa, salsa de tomate y pimienta.
