히로시마성을 둘러보다 보면 동쪽 입구에서 커다란 도리이 하나를 만나게 된다. 이곳은 히로시마 호국신사(広島護国神社)의 피폭 대도리이(被爆大鳥居). 지금은 히로시마성 동쪽, 옛 우라 고몬(裏御門) 부근에 서 있지만 원래부터 이곳에 있었던 것은 아니다. 1934년 당시 호국신사는 지금의 구 히로시마 시민구장 부근으로 이전했고, 이 도리이는 당시 신사의 입구에 세워져

일본에서 지내면서 고깃집을 몇 군데 가봤는데, 일본 야키니쿠집에서도 김치나 냉면 같은 한국 메뉴를 종종 볼 수 있다. 그런데 냉면은 아무래도 한국에서 먹던 맛과는 조금 다른 경우가 많다. 이번에 다녀온 곳은 숯불 야키니쿠집이다. 숯불에 다양한 고기를 구워 먹는 일본식 고깃집인데, 다른 곳보다 한국식 메뉴가 조금 더 다양해서 반가웠다. 김치나 냉면뿐 아니라 육개장과
