The year is 2074, the world has been plunged into darkness. One girl, Sarah Doe, will learn the secrets of the dark forces that run the ruined world. With the help of a few friends, her family, and her own powers she will fight to return the world to an order not known since well before her birth. Will she succeed? Read to find out!

Scene: Interior of an office. It is sparsely decorated, with white walls and fluorescent lighting. There is a plaque on the desk with says “Agent Steven Smith”. Schaub is looking at a computer on the desk.
Sch: (So, it looks like we have loose lips down below. A certain Doctor Bureau… guess I’ll have to pay him a visit.)
He clicks around a few times.
Sch: What’s this? “Document 13”? He didn’t even save it with a real name…
He clicks a few more times.
Sch: Immortal orphans? (Smith was such a crackpot. Although, if true, perhaps Bureau didn’t appreciate the snooping.)
He lands on an image of Sarah.
Sch: (“The progenitor”? “Immortality unknown but possible… invincible to most harm.” Is this Bureau’s Guinea pig? Smith, you were over your head here. Guess I gotta clean up the mess.)
Scene: Interior of farm house. The women from before are talking to Maia. She is tall and slender with almost white blonde hair. Her eyes are blue.
Maia: …Well, yes, they were trying to make some kind of super human. We were told we were doing our great patriotic duty. Then one day I noticed no one had girls. There were a lot of “miscarriages” happening. I panicked because I knew intuitively that I was carrying a girl. And the sonogram proved it.
They took me into a surgical suite and I was told to relax and think of my country, my duty to the world. Then the doctor turned away from me and I ran….. I barely made it out alive. I stowed away in a delivery elevator. I didn’t know the air was bad and I passed out at the bottom of the elevator.
When I woke up I was holding a newborn, we were both wearing masks. Someone had saved us. A card had been tucked in my arms telling me that there was an orphanage nearby. It also gave instructions on how to wear a suit and even how to protect my baby. No one forced me to give her up, but I was in a new world, I didn’t think I could raise a child there. So I left her at the orphanage and struggled in the streets until the resistance found me. I never knew why there were no girls. But you’re telling me there is a girl who just came back to life?
Woman 1: Yes, one of Allison’s daughters, Anya.
Maia: One of Allison’s? She escaped after me, but her daughter was definitely conceived in the program. It’s possible they succeeded after all.
Woman 1: And if they succeeded but didn’t know it, there could be quite a few of these super girls out there. If they were born to escapees they might be friendly to our cause.
Maia: I can remember thirty or so women who escaped before me. At least we suspected that they escaped. They may have met worse fates….
Woman 2: Can you help us find your daughter in the city?
Maia: If she’s still there it’s in a place called “St. Wilde’s." Are we prepared for such an incursion?
Woman 3: We have contacts in the city, if we send word ahead of time they can get us safe passage. From what I hear the city is pretty locked down with only a few routes designated for travel. Our contacts should be able to create waypoints to the orphanage.
Maia: Waypoints? Are we still using that technology?
Woman 3: It’s the only thing that they have there, it’s better than nothing.
Woman 1: How long will it take to set everything up?
Woman 3: A few days, a week at most. Our network may be small but they’re dedicated.
Woman 1: Maia, would you be willing to help us?
Maia: If it means getting my daughter back and taking down the empire, count me in.
