The year is 2074, the world has been plunged into darkness. One girl, Sarah Doe, will learn the secrets of the dark forces that run the ruined world. With the help of a few friends, her family, and her own powers she will fight to return the world to an order not known since well before her birth. Will she succeed? Read to find out!

Scene: Three men are standing among a wrecked personnel transport. The decaying bodies of Smith and his agents are scattered throughout the wreckage.
One man is talking into a headset.
Schaub: Schaub here, we have found Smith. It looks like an accident. The rats haven’t left much of them. I’m not sure why he and his men were in this quad.
Yeah, we’ll check his records. Maybe it was a confidential mission, he didn’t take partners with him for his other “business.”
He turns to the other men.
Sch: Get them cleaned up. We don't need the Underworld thinking we are vulnerable.
Scene: Interior of a building in the farming dome. Two men and three women are standing around a bed. There is a girl about Sarah’s age in the bed.
Girl: I felt terrible pain, then I was wrapped in that sheet and I couldn’t move.
Woman 1: You were dead…
Man 1: Could it have been a coma?
Man 2: No, we had our most sensitive monitors on her. Besides, no one survives a trauma like that.
Woman 2: She fell from such a height... Most of her bones were broken.
Woman 3: Same thing happened to that boy a few weeks ago, he didn’t make it.
Woman 1: Unless….
Woman 2: Unless what?
Woman 1: Isn’t she one of Allison’s? Remember the project?
Woman 3: She is one of Allison’s, born just after Allison got here. But… she said that project was unsuccessful.
Woman 2: She didn’t know the full goals of it. Maybe they did succeed and kept it a secret.
Woman 1: Wasn’t Maia a part of that project too?
Woman 2: Yeah, but she didn’t bring a child here, she left her in the city.
Woman 3: Maybe she knows more about it.
Scene: City street, Sam and Sarah are looting a delivery bot.
Sam: Keep your eyes open. The dogs have been insane over here.
Sarah: Hey, what’s that?
She picks up something from a small pile of debris.
Sam: Some kind of glasses. Night vision maybe? I dunno, put it in your bag, we gotta go.
She puts it in her bag and they close the delivery bot door and start it up again. Then they start making their way back to the warehouse.
From a rooftop above them, an orphan watches.
Or: It can’t be. She’s supposed to be dead…
