The road crews returned today to finish the ‘chip and seal’ re-paving of our road. They had not returned Monday as they had said they would, and when I went to run a few errands, I saw 👀 why! They had been busy with North and South Pass Roads. They finished it all today! Even the little road leading to the Gold Mine Trail, was clothed in a new surface!
Now, we have to watch for black tar when hiking 🥾 up to the trailhead. 🙀
Because it was going to be another scorcher today, we opted to go back to Bellingham to pick up another tub for the garage re-organization. When we came out of the store, it was pushing 95 degrees Fahrenheit! 🥵😅 That called for a mocha frappe! They are a sure fire way to cool down in weather like this!!
Cot looks like the heat has him units grip! He was enjoying the air conditioning and a nap on the bed. I disturbed him, lol! 😹
