On rue Clark at the corner with rue Rachel in Montreal, there's a long wall of an old school that was often painted by 123Klan, a Montreal collective, well a family, father, mother and son street-artists. But it had been covered in tags for some time and had lost its splendor (see StreetArt #221 in 2019 or StreetArt #444 in 2021). Fortunately, during the Mural Festival, the CEK & TER Crew took matters into their own hands.

Sur la rue Clark au coin avec de la rue Rachel à Montréal, il y a un long mur d'une ancienne école qui était souvent peint par 123Klan, un collectif montréalais, enfin une famille, père, mère et fils. Mais cela faisait quelque temps qu'il était couvert de tags et avait perdu sa splendeur (voir StreetArt #221 en 2019 ou StreetArt #444 en 2021). Heureusement que pendant le Mural Festival, les CEK & TER Crew ont pris les choses en main.

It's hard to take a photo of the whole wall, firstly because it's quite long and because it's free parking, there are always cars parked in front of it. / FR : Difficile de prendre une photo du mur en entier, premièrement il est assez long et comme ce sont des places de parking gratuites, il y a toujours des voitures garées devant.

Bibi Una

During the Mural Festival, the TER & CEK Crews invited a few artists to repaint this wall, which deserved it because it was covered in tags like Bibi Una, a Montreal artist who often takes part in the various festivals organized in the city. Always original works.

Pendant le Mural Festival, le TER & CEK Crew ont invité quelques artistes a repeindre ce mur qui le méritait bien car il était couvert de tags comme Bibi Una, artiste montréalaise qui participe souvent aux différents festivals organisés dans la ville. Toujours des œuvres originales.

Amon, Egualatoer & Drop Shadows

Right next to it, there's this rat with laser eyes (surely to protect his Bitcoin, and I understand him 😀) made by Amon like the other characters separating the lettering. After that it's Egualatoer, Drop Shadows... but as the Instagram accounts are private, harder to tell who did what as I don't their styl;e.

Juste à côté, il y a ce rat avec des yeux laser (sûrement pour protéger son Bitcoin, et je le comprends 😀 ) fait par Amon comme les autres personnages séparant les lettrages. Après il s'agit de Egualatoer, Drop Shadows... mais comme les comptes sont privés, plus difficile de dire qui a fait quoi comme je ne connais pas leur style.

I've noted Bhar Ekual and Resno for these two photos. But why? I have no idea and since I don't know who the artists are. I'll put my trust in my old self. / FR : J'ai noté pour ces photos Bhar Ekual et Resno pour ces deux œuvres. Mais pour quelles raisons ? J'en ai aucune idée et comme je ne sais pas qui sont les artistes. Je vais faire mon confiance à mon ancien moi 😀.

I don't know who made these letters, probably a member of the CEK aka Catching Eye$ Krew originally from California but now established all over the world... Amon is still at the helm for this raging spray can* 😀.

Je ne sais pas qui a réalisé ces lettres sûrement un membre du CEK aka Catching Eye$ Krew en provenance de Californie mais maintenant établi un peu partout dans le monde... Amon est toujours au commande pour cette spray can un petit peu enragée 😀.

The TER crew also left these letters with a spray in action. I don't know too much about the members apart from Peyo and Peack. / FR : Le TER crew a aussi laissé ces lettres avec un spray en action. Je ne connais pas trop les membres du collectif à part Peyo et Peack.

Hozek

Hozek, an artist based between Montreal and Nimes (in France), let loose with this rat I don't want to run into on the street with those teeth and claws. Right next door, Georges Intact left two letters surrounded by a wad of cash and a bottle of Labatt (not the best of beers 😀).

Hozek, artiste basé entre Montréal et Nimes (en France), s'est laché avec ce rat que je n'ai pas envie de croiser dans la rue avec ces dents et ces griffes. Juste à côté, Georges Intact a laissé deux lettres entourées par une liasse de billets et une bouteille de Labatt (pas la meilleure des bières 😀).
