(ESP/ENG) Recuperación del Cuarto de mi Hija Isabel. Parte 1 // Recovery of my Daughter Isabel's Room. Part 1

Meterle la mano al cuarto de mi hija Isabel es algo a lo que le habíamos dado mucha larga, sabíamos que esto sería un proceso de varios dias y varias etapas. Desde hace unos cuantos meses hemos ido comprando de poquito las cosas para arreglar el cuarto de la niña...
El martes iniciamos este proceso, sacamos todo del cuarto, juguetes, ropa, colchón y lo distribuimos por la casa 😂 para evitar que se llenarán de polvo y pintura.

Con el cuarto vacío se inició con el proceso Recuperación del Cuarto de Isabel mi esposo es el que está encargado del trabajo pesado de este proyecto que es bastante.. Inicio quitando parte del friso del techo, les voy a contar un poquito que paso aquí: cuando mi esposo compro está casa todos techos venían con especie de grafeado y eso no era del gusto de el, entonces decidió frisar todos los techos de la casa. Cuando teníamos como dos años viviendo acá, una noche escuchamos un ruido bien fuerte como si se hubiese caído una vajilla entera de porcelana, todos salimos corriendo y al abrir la puerta de la habitación, lo que salió fue una polvo blanco ahi nos dimos cuenta que el accidente ocurrio en el cuarto de Isabel, se había caído la mitad del friso 🥴 nosotros estamos molestos el mal trabajo era evidente, no habían picoteado suficientemente el techo y bueno el friso no se pego como debía (aqui hablando con mis propias palabras).

Mi esposo se dedicó a quitar todo ese friso a mano para tratar de dejar el techo lo mas limpio posible, aunque por ahora no podemos frisar nuevamente, pero esa es nuestra meta... Todos los escombros se recogueron para luego botar, lo bueno es que este trabajador deja todo bien limpio y trabaja ordenado 😂

Luego de retirar el friso, mi esposo se dispuso a empastar toda la orilla de la pared y el techo con delicadeza, para trata de emparejar y dejar todo lo mas prolijo posible.

Mientras esperabamos que esa pasta secara, se decidio limpiar el aire acondicionado, para aprovechar que el cuarto estaba desocupado, asi que mi esposo se puso manos a la obra.

Ahora es hora de pintar, el.techo fue lo primero tratando de tapar todos esos defectos, luego se pinto todas las orillas de las paredes, mi hija escugio comores lila y blanco para su cuarto, le haremos un pequeño diseño de triángulos que creo le quedara lindo.

Este fue el avance hasta el dia de hoy. Mañana se inicia con el color lila, si mi esposo empieza a trabajar temprano creo que mañana quedara todo listo de pintura... Al finalizar esta etapa viene la limpieza y organización. Colocar cortinas, unos cuadros y otras cositas, que tenemos años com eso guardalo esperando el momento en que pudiéramos pintar y arreglar.

With the room empty we started with the process Recovering Isabel's Room my husband is the one who is in charge of the heavy work of this project which is quite a lot.. I am going to tell you a little bit about what happened here: when my husband bought this house all the ceilings came with some kind of graffiti and that was not to his liking, so he decided to remove all the ceilings of the house. When we had been living here for about two years, one night we heard a very loud noise as if a whole china set had fallen, we all ran out and when we opened the door of the room, what came out was a white powder, then we realized that the accident happened in Isabel's room, half of the frieze had fallen 🥴 we were upset, the bad work was evident, they had not pecked the ceiling enough and well the frieze did not stick as it should (here speaking in my own words).

My husband dedicated himself to remove all that frieze by hand to try to leave the ceiling as clean as possible, although for now we can not frieze again, but that is our goal.... All the debris was picked up and then thrown away, the good thing is that this worker leaves everything very clean and works tidy 😂

After removing the frieze, my husband set out to fill the entire edge of the wall and the ceiling with delicacy, to try to even out and leave everything as neat as possible.

While we were waiting for the paste to dry, it was decided to clean the air conditioner, to take advantage of the fact that the room was unoccupied, so my husband got down to work.

Now it's time to paint, the ceiling was the first thing to try to cover all those defects, then we painted all the edges of the walls, my daughter chose lilac and white colors for her room, we will make a small triangle design that I think will look nice.

This is the progress so far. Tomorrow we start with the lilac color, if my husband starts working early I think that tomorrow we will be all ready to paint.... At the end of this stage comes the cleaning and organization. Putting up curtains, some pictures and other little things, that we have kept for years waiting for the moment when we could paint and arrange.
