Good day, Hivers!!
How is your week so far? Mine is quite tiring. I only work in the evening, which leaves me doing some household chores in the morning. Yesterday, a relative called us for a favor. That's the reason why I need to get up early today. I don't mind it as long as I was given a heads-up.
I went out as early as I could. I did what was asked. Then I noticed the beautiful weather. I asked my husband if we could walk and find a place to have snacks. So, we did.
After walking for a few minutes, we found a 7/11 store and grabbed a quick bite. Then, we continued walking. We passed by the Jordan Esplanade. The place wasn't well maintained because some railings on the bridge were missing and the bridge was a bit old and rusty.
The weeds have overgrown in some parts of the Esplanade, especially at the walkway. I still saw a few joggers, though. It seems to be serving its purpose even though the government has forgotten about it. 😂
We continued our walk and reached the smallest plaza. This is a famous tourist spot because it holds the Guinness World title, the smallest plaza in the world.
There were also tiny and cute souvenirs sold outside.
We continued walking...
We passed by this area with tall trees and greenery, and then I saw an intersection in the distance. That's when I realized we'd walked too far. There were no PUVs passing by, so we decided to walk more to reach the nearest school. My husband believes that there should be vehicles waiting there. And so we did.
It was a lovely walk. I didn't notice the time and just enjoyed looking at the surroundings.
