Peaceful Mornings and my Tiny Feathered Guests: Philippine Magpie-robin

Good day, Hivers!!
I hope everyone's doing great today. ☀️
Weekdays give me peace and relaxation in the morning until the afternoon. I have so much free time that I usually spend my afternoons under the avocado tree watching movies on my tab or simply listening to birds. Sometimes, I lie on my small trampoline, which I've made into an outdoor bed.
Yesterday, while I was on my hammock listening to my neighbors' loud music 😁, I heard a different tune. It was a Philippine magpi-robin singing on our avocado tree branch. .
I looked it up online, and I saw that females have soft grayish breasts and a white belly, while males have black breasts. They are both wonderful songbirds and sometimes mimic the sound of other birds.
The female magpie-robin on the avocado tree flew to the short mango tree just a few meters away. Then another bird joined her.
It was then that I realized that the second bird was a male. Notice the black upper body.
They were both singing beautifully. The male was chasing after the female. The female was keeping her distance from the male.
They kept on going for a few minutes, then the female flew away. Maybe an unsuccessful courtship? 😅
How beautiful nature is. 🪶
Anyway, that's all for today!
Enjoy the rest of your week. 😊
